Issue: Devices Not Syncing with Intune




Symptoms:

  • Devices do not appear in the Intune portal.

  • Policies or apps are not deployed to devices.



Possible Causes:

  • Incorrect enrollment settings.

  • Network issues preventing communication with Intune.

  • Outdated device configurations.


Solution:

  1. Verify Device Enrollment Settings: Ensure the devices are enrolled correctly.

    • Navigate to Intune > Device Enrollment > Enrollment Restrictions in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.

    • Confirm the device type is allowed.


  2. Check Device Compliance:

    • Go to Devices > All Devices, and confirm the compliance status.

    • If the device is non-compliant, review the policy and address violations.


  3. Resolve Network Issues:

    • Confirm the device has internet access.

    • Ensure the necessary endpoints for Intune communication are not blocked by firewalls.


  4. Force a Manual Sync:

    • On the device, go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, select the connected account, and choose Sync.
